CampusWorks and Kayne Anderson Developing Charleston, S.C., Property

Charleston, S.C. — College of Charleston area property opens fall 2015.

930 NoMoCharleston, S.C. — CampusWorks Development is under construction on a 430-bed community serving the College of Charleston that will open fall 2015. The Charlotte-based student housing developer and building is calling the project 930 NoMo. It is a joint venture with Kayne Anderson Real Estate and in partnership with Kaplan Residential. 930 NoMo will be be constructed on 2.5 acres adjacent to the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge on the Copper River. An additional adjacent 2.4 acres of land (under the bridge) will be used for surface parking. The project will include a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse, 10,000-square-foot pool terrace, 9,000-square-foot elevated courtyards, waterfront views and community balconies with a rooftop terrace. CW Construction will be the general contractor on the 5-story, wood-framed building with 1-story over podium parking.
