Vesper Adds Ninth Complex to Student Housing Portfolio

Aberdeen Place in Huntsville, Texas.Huntsville, Texas — Vesper Holdings has purchased Aberdeen Place, a 528-bed student housing community near Sam Houston State University. It consists of 11 three-story residential buildings and a clubouse. Built in 2007, it is among the newer properties in the Huntsville market.

Vesper will invest $750,000 in capital expenditures to improve the property, including clubhouse renovations; a renovation of the pool deck to include cabanas, day beds and resort style pool furniture; a fire pit; arcade room; pet park; upgraded fitness center and the addition of a second shuttle bus to campus. Aberdeen Place has a 95 percent occupancy rate.
