ATLANTA — Peak Campus Management has promoted Casey Petersen to National Director of Business Development. In the new role, he will oversee sourcing and development of new relationships with universities, investors and developers to provide student housing management and consulting services.

Petersen has seven years of student housing experience, which has mostly been spent as a regional property manager with Peak Campus. Prior to that role, he helped develop the internal National Elite Training Specialists program for Peak's predecessor, Place Properties. Earlier in his career, Petersen worked in various roles for GMH Communities Trust. Peak Campus manages approximately 20,000 beds.
