Virginia Commonwealth to Build New Dorm

Richmond, Va. — Virginia Commonwealth University has picked the design-build team for its new Grace Street Student Housing Project.

 

Richmond, Va. — Virginia Commonwealth University has picked the design-build team for its new Grace Street Student Housing Project. The team of Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., nbj Architecture and WDG Architecture will design and construct the 459-bed community. The ground floor of the building will contain a study center, and each floor will contain community and study spaces. It also contains two private courtyard gardens. The project is being designed to meet LEED-Silver certification. The construction timetable was not released.
