THP Rebrands Former Middle School

Binghamton, N.Y. — Final capital improvements complete.  

C Fred Plaza became Campus Square earlier this year when THP was hired to re-market and manage the property serving SUNY-Binghamton.Binghamton, N.Y.  — With the installation of new heating and wireless Internet, Texla Housing Partners has completed the final major capital project on Campus Square, a 60-unit student housing complex 1.5 miles from SUNY-Binghamton.

THP was hired in April 2011 to rebrand the former middle school that was renovated in 2009 as student housing. The building was emerging from receivership when Binghamton Affiliates LLP hired THP to recapture a market at BU as well as at the teaching hospital UHS Wilson Medical Center and Broome County Community College.

Campus Square had a 96 percent occupancy rate for the fall semester and has started signing leases for 2012.
