American Campus Communities Delivers Six Student Housing Projects Totaling 3,867 Beds

Austin, Texas — American Campus Communities (ACC) has delivered six student housing projects totaling 3,867 beds. Development costs for the portfolio totaled $855 million. New deliveries include:

Meadows Apartments: a 604-bed development serving students attending Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. The project achieved LEED Silver certification and features apartment-style units with shared amenities including a communal kitchen, children’s playroom and a market/café. ACC was the third-party developer and acts as facilities manager for the community.  

Casa del Valle: a 507-bed development serving students attending Arizona State University’s West Campus in Glendale. The project targets first-year students and offers suite-style units alongside social lounges, zen areas and landscaped outdoor amenities. The community aims to receive LEED Silver certification. ACC is the project owner, developer and manager under the Austin, Texas-based firm’s American Campus Equity (ACE) program. 

Phase I of The Ridge Graduate and Professional Housing: a 535-bed community offering apartment-style units for graduate students attending Emory University in Atlanta. The development includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, large study areas, a communal kitchen and parking garage. ACC was the third-party developer and acts as facilities manager for the community, which is targeting LEED Gold certification. 

xučyun ruwway Graduate Student Apartments: a five-building complex offering 761 beds in apartment-style units for students attending the University of California, Berkeley. The development is targeting LEED Gold certification and offers shared amenities including community spaces, a fitness center, spacious lounges and more than 55,000 square feet of green space. ACC owns the development through its ACE program. 

East Campus Graduate Apartments: a 784-bed community serving graduate and professional students attending the University of Texas at Austin. The development offers shared amenities including both indoor and outdoor common spaces. The community is targeting LEED Silver certification. ACC was the third-party developer and acts as manager for the community.  

Graduate Junction: a 676-bed development for graduate students attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge. The community offers shared amenities including study areas, a recreation and fitness center and indoor bike storage. The community is targeting LEED Platinum certification. ACC was the third-party developer and acts as manager for the community.

ACC’s current pipeline consists of more than 9,500 beds in the pre-development and development stages.
