Austin, Texas — American Campus Communities (ACC) has promoted Dan Crownover to the role of chief financial officer (CFO) effective Jan. 1. Crownover previously held the position of executive vice president of asset management. He will succeed Kim Voss, who has worked within the Austin, Texas-based firm for over 20 years. In his new position, Crownover will oversee financial management, strategic planning and investment returns, driving the company’s business strategy and growth. “Kim is a true champion of excellence, integrity and leadership and her remarkable tenure at ACC has helped shape the company into the industry leader it is today,” says CEO Rob Palleschi. “We are excited to promote from within, tapping Dan for the CFO role.
