Annex Student Living Names Kim Cory President

Indianapolis — First initiative includes developing an in-house property management division.

Indianapolis — Student housing developer Annex Student Living has named Kim Cory president. Cory, who has more than 15 years of marketing and operations experience in the student housing sector, is responsible for all aspects of leasing and managing Annex properties as well as developing customer relations initiatives to meet the needs of residents, parents, the universities and the communities in which Annex properties reside across the Midwest. The Annex portfolio amounts to more $35 million, and contracts are in place to grow total assets to approximately $100 million by 2016, according to the company.

Cory’s most recent experience as director of Student Media for For Rent Media Solutions included developing the business plan for, implementing and managing the website www.forrentuniversity.com, which is part of the Homes.com and ForRent.com network. She also has worked as a property sales and marketing director overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic marketing and planning, public relations, staffing initiatives, training and development for more than 5,000 student housing units in Ohio.
