Houston — Houston-based Asset Campus Housing Inc. (ACH) has named Jim Short senior vice president of capital markets.
In his new role, Short will be responsible for managing all investment related financial relationships including structuring debt and raising equity for ACH specific projects, as well as assisting ACH clients with proposed capital stacks.
Prior to joining the ACH team, Short worked as president of the student housing division at Century Development and as CEO and president of the U.S. division at Campus Living Villages. Most recently, Short worked deal sourcing public-private transactions for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, the education division of Balfour Beatty Investments.
