Birge & Held Names Its First Student Housing Development

South Bend, Ind. — Aurum will open to Notre Dame grad students this fall.

AurumSouth Bend, Ind. — Birge & Held Real Estate, a multifamily investment firm based in Carmel, Ind., is under construction with its first student housing development near Notre Dame University. It has been named Aurum, the Latin word for gold and an homage to Notre Dame. The 60-bed property aimed at graduate students will open this fall. It will consist of five buildings offering one- and two-bedroom apartments.
