Atlanta — Chicago-based Blue Vista Capital Management has launched its new student
housing management and development business. The company, known as Peak Campus Cos., will be headquartered in Atlanta. It will be lead by William Barkwell, who will serve as president and CEO.
Peak Campus Cos. launches with 450 employees and a management portfolio of 20,000 beds. The company manages the properties owned by Blue Vista’s first student housing fund and will also provide third-party management services.
Barkwell is a veteran of the student housing industry, having served as the president of Ambling’s property management business and as COO of Campus Advantage.
