Campus Crest Raises $352.2 Million From IPO

The REIT offered a total of 30.58 million shares.

Charlotte, N.C. — The underwriters of Campus Crest Communities initial public offering have exercised their option to purchase an additional 2.25 million shares of common stock to cover over-allotments. Last month, the REIT offered 28.33 million shares of common stock at a price of $12.50 per share. The additional purchase brings the total net proceeds of the IPO to approximately $352.2 million after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses.
