Washington, D.C. — Cannon Design has been selected to design a new student center for the University of the District of Columbia. The new building will feature offices for student government, campus life, career services and other student support functions. It will also contain a 10,000-square-foot fitness center, a conference center and ballroom, dining services, a bookstore and retail space. The construction timetable was not released.
