Atlanta — The new VPs will support mixed-use, multifamily and student housing projects for the Atlanta-based developer.
Carter has hired Jimmy Barry as senior vice president of development and TP Bullock as vice president of construction and design. In these positions, both will work closely with Carter’s development team to lead, manage and grow its multi-family, student housing and mixed-use business, the company says. Bullock is the lead on Carter’s student housing development near Boise State University, which is scheduled to be delivered before the 2015-2016 academic year. Bullock joins Carter with nearly a decade of real estate experience. As vice president, his duties include managing the design and construction aspects of new student housing and multi-family developments.
Barry brings more than 20 years of industry experience in project, budget and construction management. In his new role, he will provide oversight and expertise for office development, as well as construction and budget management for future and existing office deals. He will provide design and construction support for the new 338,000-square foot office building that Carter is building for General Electric at The Banks in Cincinnati. He will also identify and lead new office development opportunities for Carter across multiple markets.
