Storrs, Conn. — A joint venture between Landmark Properties and Manulife Investment Management has announced plans to develop The Standard at Four Corners. The 890-bed student housing community will be located at 1717 Storrs Road near the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. The project will offer studio through three-bedroom fully furnished units. Shared amenities are set to include 24-hour study lounges, a fitness center, computer lab, gaming lounge, heated swimming pool, hot tub and fire pits. Storrs, Conn. — Chozick Realty Inc. has arranged the $12.5 million sale of Orchard Acres Apartments, a student housing community located near the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. The property was constructed in 1963 and offers 96 one-bedroom units. Tom Boyle of Chozick Realty represented the seller, Orchard Acres Apartments, and Steve Pappas of Chozick represented the undisclosed buyer in the transaction.

Storrs, Conn. — Triad Real Estate Partners and Rittenhouse Realty Advisors (RRA) have arranged the sale of Carriage House Townhomes, a 131-bed student housing community located near the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. The property was built in 1967 and underwent significant renovations under the previous ownership. The seller is a Connecticut-based portfolio owner. RRA represented the buyer, a NYC-based private investment fund, in the transaction.

Athens, Ga. — Landmark Properties has been awarded management of 11 student housing communities totaling 5,400 beds. The Athens-based company’s new assignments are located in Tennessee, Oregon, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, Connecticut and North Carolina. New Haven, Conn. — Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, has arranged the sale of Cambridge Oxford Apartments, a three-building, 84-unit multifamily community located near Yale University in New Haven. An affiliate of Paredim Partners LLC acquired the property, which is located adjacent to the Yale Center for British Art. The community serves as housing for Yale medical employees, students and faculty. The seller and terms of the transaction were undisclosed.

Storrs, Conn. — Chozick Realty has arranged the $14.4 million sale of Willington Oaks, a 384-bed student housing community located near the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. The property offers one- and two-bedroom units and recently underwent renovations including the addition of new boilers, roofs, windows and septic systems. Rick Chozick and Steve Pappas of Chozick Realty arranged the disposition on behalf of Willington Oaks LLC and procured the buyer, TC NY Associates LLC.
