Gainesville, Fla.
— Three Gainesville communities within The Collier Companies family have donated 2,600 pieces of furniture, including full-size beds, living room sets and dining room tables and chairs, to Haven Hospice in Gainesville. Lexington Crossing donated 1,200 pieces; Gainesville Place donated 900 pieces; and The Crossing at Santa Fe donated 500 pieces. The furniture is available at a discounted price through Haven Hospice Attic, the charity’s retail donation arm.

“The Collier Companies is honored to have this opportunity to support Haven Hospice in their mission to help individuals and families with individuals who have illnesses for which there is no cure,” says Arthur Stockwell, president of Collier Accounting & Technology, LLC.

The Collier Companies donates to Gainesville charities during its annual move-out event that occurs each August. This is the largest donation ever made to the Haven Hospice Attic.
