Construction Advancing for Dorm/Dining Complex at Xavier

The project will bring 535 beds and an 800-seat dining hall to the school.

Cincinnati — Construction is advancing for a new residence hall and dining complex at Xavier University in Cincinnati. The 240,000-square-foot project will consists of 535 beds within four residence halls as well as an 800-seat dining hall. Of note is the new dining hall, which will contain a green terrace on the roof and provide recreation space for students. It replaces the existing Hoff Marketplace.

Construction began for the project last May. Completion is slated for this August. Boston-based Shepley Bulfinch is the project architect, and locally based Messer Construction is the general contractor.
