Construction Underway on 446-Bed Student Housing Project Near Texas Tech University

Lubbock, Texas — Construction is underway on The Carlton House, a 446-bed student housing project by Treemont Partners near Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

The 405,253-square-foot community will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom units with furniture provided by University Furnishings. Shared amenities are set to include a two-story fitness center with Peloton bikes and Echelon fitness mirrors; two-story study center with private study pods and conference rooms; resort-style swimming pool with cabanas, tanning ledges and a heated plunge pool; fifth-floor penthouse level with a shared kitchen and living room; courtyard and stage; garden; outdoor grilling and dining space; and a dog park.

The project is scheduled for completion in June. T.J. Chambers of Chambers Real Estate has served as a consultant on the project and University Partners has been tapped to manage and lease the community upon completion. Humphreys & Partners Architects is the architect for the project.
