West Palm Beach, Fla.— A partnership between developer Pembroke Student Housing and Palm Beach Atlantic University has broken ground on a 510-bed residence hall on the university’s campus in West Palm Beach. The 163,000-square-foot, eight-story building will offer one- and two-bedroom units. Shared amenities will include a large conference space and group and private study areas on each floor. Construction on the community, which will be owned by Provident Resources Group, is set for completion in fall 2020. The project’s development team includes architectural firm, Stantec; contractor, Hedrick Brothers Construction; land planner, Urban Kilday Design; and civil engineer, Reikenis & Associates.
