Madison, Wis. — Core Spaces will develop three student housing communities totaling 4,000 beds near the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The developments are set for delivery between 2026 and 2028 and will include a 12-story community offering 910 beds at the intersection of West Johnson and North Bassett streets; a 15-story, 1,723-bed property offering studio through five-bedroom units and townhomes at the intersection of West Johnson and North Broom streets; and a 15-story, 1,330-bed property located at the intersection of North Frances and West Johnson streets. 10 Percent of beds at the West Johnson and North Broom Street development will be offered at a 40 percent discount to average market rates. All three properties will offer amenities including rooftop swimming pools, outdoor grilling areas, fitness center, co-working spaces and private study rooms. Treehouse Builders and Madison-based Findorff will serve as general contractors for each of the new projects.
