by Scott Reid

Austin, Texas – Dobie Center, a popular University of Texas student housing property managed by Campus Evolution Villages and owned by an affiliate of The Carlton Group, has rolled out “Dobie Suites.”

This new room and meal plan program will give currently enrolled students and faculty the ability to rent individual rooms and/or suites for one night or an extended visit.

The program will also be available for parents and groups of UT attendees who visit the campus or who need temporary accommodations.  A limited number of rooms will be available since the Dobie Center is substantially leased. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

The new Dobie Suites program will provide an upscale housing environment for current University of Texas students, faculty and international students. It also caters to students and facility who are commuting back and forth to campus and in need of quality housing that includes Dobie’s full food service through its dining hall.

The program will be limited to several upper floors of the Dobie tower, known for their views of the campus and downtown Austin. Residents will also enjoy their own private showers and bathrooms and plenty of space to spread out, relax or study.

The building recently went through a renovation.
