The historic prairie house on the property will be preserved and will serve as the new apartment community’s clubhouse and leasing office. The project will contain 549 beds in a mix of one- through four-bedroom units. Apartment sizes will range from 550 to 1,350 square feet. Upon completion, which is expected in August 2012, Legends will be managed by Asset Campus Housing. Domus also expects to donate a portion of the development’s 30 acres to the city for use as park space.
