Iowa City, Iowa — Entasis Design-Architects and 316 Madison, a development and management company from Iowa City, Iowa, are currently in the design phase for The View at 316.
This 15-story, 247-bed luxury high rise is the first of its kind in the University of Iowa market. The property consists of 154 units and will have 24-hour on-site property management as well as secured subsurface parking. The site borders the university near the campus recreation and wellness center and the college of music.
The View at 316 has several amenity spaces throughout the building totaling more than 5,400 square feet. This property has two large outdoor areas, a fifth floor sundeck and an expansive rooftop terrace with multiple seating areas, outdoor kitchen with grilling station and fire table. The indoor amenities include a study lounge, conference room, technology center, yoga room, music room and a flex space connected to the sundeck. On the main floor, there is 1,390 square feet of retail space available. The proposed ground breaking will be spring 2015 with an August 2016 delivery.
