Flathead Valley Community College in Montana to Build Student Housing

by Scott Reid

Kalispell, Mont. — The Flathead Valley Community College Board of Trustees has approved the development of approximately 100 beds on the college’s Kalispell campus.

The new residence hall is expected to be completed by the fall semester of 2017, and is projected to cost approximately $9.5 million.

The campus currently features no residential facilities for students. Previously, the college used two apartment buildings leased from a nearby hospital for rooms for students, according to the Flathead Beacon.
