Florida Keys CC Completes First Student Housing Facility

Key West, Fla. — Lagoon Landing is a three-story, 100-bed facility.


Key West, Fla.
— Florida Keys Community College (FKCC) has completed its first student housing facility called Lagoon Landing in Key West. Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based SIKON Construction completed the $4.8 million, three-story, 100-bed, 43,000-square-foot project for developer Student Suites South Florida LLC. St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Hayes Cumming Architects designed the project. 

“On-campus student housing tremendously enriches the student life experience, and we’re bringing that enhancement to FKCC,” says Dr. Larry Tyree, president of FKCC.
