Athens, Ga. — Landmark Properties has hired industry veteran JD Goering as the company’s new senior vice president of acquisitions. Goering will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities, structuring joint ventures and closing on investments.
Goering has 12 years experience in the student housing sector. Since 2015, he has been vice president of the transactions group at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital. Prior to that, Goering was senior Vice President and leader of the student housing acquisition team at Blue Vista Capital Management for seven years. He has been involved in the acquisition, development and disposition of more than $3 billion in student housing assets.
