The new owner plans significant upgrades to the community, located near Radford University
Radford, Va. — Greenhill Partners has acquired Hunters Ridge Apartments, a 538-bed student housing property located in Radford. The community is located on 29.7 acres less than a quarter-mile from the campus of Radford University. It consists of 156 units in 13 buildings along with a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse. The community is being renamed Greenhill Apartments at Radford and will be managed by Greenhill Property Management. Acquisition financing was provided by US Bank.
Long-term plans include renovating the clubhouse, adding furnishings to all units, a reconfiguring of the unit mix, and the addition of outdoor amenities and a resort-style pool. The property has land to expand the community by 240 units.
