HFF Brokers 12-Property Tallahassee Portfolio Sale

Tallahassee, Fla. — HFF has brokered the sale of a 12-property student housing portfolio.

Tallahassee, Fla. — Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) has brokered the sale of a 12-property student housing portfolio on behalf of special servicer LNR Partners. Brian Kelly of HFF’s Indianapolis office led the brokerage team. The 12 properties, which contain a total of 1,702 beds, serve students of nearby Florida State University, Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College.

Four buyers were involved in the deal. AMCO Properties acquired 1111 On High (344 beds) and Villa Casa Cortez (254 beds). Mesco, Ltd., acquired Osceola Village Hall (334 beds), Osceola Village Suites (184 beds) and Sweet Bay Club (164 beds). Shady Lane Holdings acquired Cottage of Magnolia (152 beds), University Gardens II (80 beds), Jennings Place Cottages (18 beds) and Cottages of Harrison (16 beds). The Cottages of Tallahassee LLC acquired Cumberland Forest (112 beds), Cottages of Rumba (24 beds) and Cottages of Glenda (20 beds).
