Terre Haute, Ind. — The board of trustees at Indiana State University has accepted a new campus master plan that includes upgrades to student housing and athletic venues, as well as the renovation of several academic facilities. Part of the plan includes continued improvements to the student housing, either through remodeling or replacing existing high-rise residence halls, or by working with private developers. The master plan complements the university’s strategic plan, which seeks to expand enrollment by 15 percent to 12,000 students within 5 years. Most of the projects covered by the master plan are expected to be completed without state tax dollars.
