West Lafayette, Ind. — A joint venture between Landmark Properties and Manulife Investment Management has broken ground on The Standard at West Lafayette, a 678-bed development serving students attending Purdue University in Indiana. Located on West Wood Street in West Lafayette, the community will offer fully furnished units in studio through four-bedroom configurations. Shared amenities will include a rooftop clubhouse with an outdoor heated pool and fitness center; an indoor/outdoor amenity deck on the fourth floor with a grilling area, seating, gaming lounge and an interior courtyard; study spaces on each floor; and a parking garage for 207 vehicles. Peninsula Investments also partnered on the project, which is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2027-2028 academic year. The development team includes Landmark Urban Construction, the in-house general contractor for Landmark Properties, and BKV Group. TSB Capital Advisors coordinated financing through BMO Bank for the project.
