Landmark Properties to Break Ground on Seven Communities Totaling 4,450-Beds

Athens, Ga. — Landmark Properties has announced plans to break ground on seven student housing developments totaling 4,450 beds. These projects will increase the Athens-based company’s total assets under construction to more than $2.9 billion. New developments will include: 

  • The Retreat at Pullman, a 767-bed, cottage-style community located near Washington State University in Pullman. The property will offer two-, three-, four-, five- and six-bedroom units. Shared amenities will include a 12,500-square-foot clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, hot tubs, a fitness center, computer lab, fire pit, sand volleyball court, hammocks and corn hole boards. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2020. 
  • The Retreat at Sacramento, a 736-bed, cottage-style community serving students at Sacramento State University in California. The community will offer one-, two-, three-, four-, five- and six-bedroom units. Shared amenities are set to include an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse, a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, computer lab, dog park and sand volleyball court. Delivery is scheduled for August 2020.
  • Phase II of The Mark at Athens, located near the University of Georgia. The expansion will add 446 beds to the development, which originally opened in 2018. Phase II will feature 160,000 square feet of residential space and 20,000 square feet of retail set for completion in August 2021. 
  • The Standard at Berkeley, a 407-bed student housing community located near the University of California – Berkeley. The development will offer one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units alongside 8,200 square feet of ground floor retail space. Shared amenities will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, gaming area and a study lounge. The project is set for completion in August 2021. 
  • The Station at Buffalo, a 749-bed, townhome-style community located near the State University of New York at Buffalo. The development will offer two-, three- and four-bedroom, fully furnished units. Community amenities will include 10,500 square feet of retail space, a clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tubs, a fitness center, study lounge, golf simulator and dog park. The property is scheduled for completion in August 2021. 
  • The Standard at Coral Gables, a 376-bed community serving students at the University of Miami in Florida. The development will feature 160,000 square feet of residential space alongside 17,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom units with shared amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, study area, fitness center, sauna, computer lounge and a grilling area. The development is set for completion in August 2021. 
  • The Mark at Austin, a 975-bed, mixed-use student housing community located near the University of Texas at Austin. The development will feature 325,600 square feet of residential space and 2,900 square feet of ground floor retail. The community will offer studio-, one-, two-, three-, four-, five- and six-bedroom units. Shared amenities will include an elevated pool deck, fitness center, study lounge, gaming lounge and a clubhouse. The project will be delivered in August 2023.
