Atlanta — Developer Mallory & Evans will open Bellamy Daytona for fall 2019 occupancy. The 376-bed project is open to students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; Daytona State College; Florida State University College of Medicine and three other universities in the Daytona Beach area. Atlanta-based Mallory & Evans is also breaking ground this year on Bellamy Carrollton, a 628-bed project at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, and Bellamy Western, a 248-bed project at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Opening for the latter projects is scheduled for fall 2020. Caliber Living will lease and manage all three properties. The Bellamy brand features furnished units with single-occupancy bedrooms, baths and study areas, as well as shared kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Amenities include smart home technology, resort-style pools and clubhouses with grills, fire pits and hammocks.
Bellamy & Evans also plans to launch a new brand of multifamily housing product in 2019 with a ground breaking later in the year. Details on the brand or its first location are not yet being made available.
