Champaign, Ill. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $150 million sale of a 50-property student housing portfolio located near the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Together, the buildings offer 1,100 units and total 863,961 square feet of space. The portfolio ranges from single-family rental homes to traditional student housing communities, with the newest property built three years ago. Scott Harris and Bryan Kunze of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Campus Property Management, and procured the buyer, Fairlawn Capital, in the transaction.
