Memphis, Tenn. — McKinney Properties has acquired the 255-bed Stratum on Highland, a mid-rise property near the University of Memphis. Stratum on Highland was built in 2008 and includes a 2.5 story parking garage and ground floor retail. Amenities include a fitness center, club room, cyber café, tanning salon, media room, computer lab and furnished units. McKinney worked with Mike Kemmether of Cushman & Wakefield, who represented the seller. McKinney arranged financing and closed on the property in less than two weeks.
