Bainbridge’s Campus-Circle Urbana will be complete in April 2016.Urbana, Ill. — Bainbridge Companies has selected McShane Construction Company to construct Campus Circle Urbana, a new student housing project adjacent to the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The 276,000-square-foot, five-story, 524-bed apartment complex will be completed in April 2016. Charlan Brock & Associates is the architect.
Campus Circle Urbana will feature a modern design utilizing a blend of brick, cement siding and exterior panels. It will offer 181 apartments in one-, two- and four-bedroom configurations, with each bedroom incorporating a private bathroom.
The assignment also includes 2,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and an adjacent five-story, 101,000-square-foot, access-controlled parking garage accommodating up to 291 vehicles.
The development’s on-site leasing office will include more than 13,500 square feet of amenities including a gym, yoga studio, game room, media center, tanning bed areas and a communal kitchen. The rooftop of the development’s communal area will provide a sizable patio for residents and guests. An outdoor swimming pool and kitchen located within the property’s courtyard will support additional outdoor entertainment space.
