Greensboro, N.C.
— Phase I of a mixed-use project along the West Lee Street corridor in Greensboro will break ground this fall and include an 800-bed residence hall serving the University of North Carolina-Greensboro (UNCG). Set to be completed for the start of the 2013-2014 academic year, the residence hall is within UNCG’s plans for expansion into the West Lee Street corridor as the school seeks to increase the percentage of undergraduates living in university housing during the next decade. Future phases of the project will include a student recreation center and additional student housing. Phase I will also feature office and retail space.
