Columbia, S.C. — NorthMarq’s Atlanta office has arranged a $49 million first mortgage financing for the Woodlands of Columbia, a student housing complex in Columbia, S.C. The complex has 1,209 beds in 390 units for University of South Carolina students. The loan has a 10-year term with a 30-year amortization schedule and was arranged for the undisclosed borrower by Bruce Foster, senior vice president of NorthMarq, through the company’s seller-servicer relationship with Freddie Mac.
