Minneapolis — The Opus Group and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital (HSRE) have completed three student housing developments in the Midwest. Venue at Dinkytown, in Minneapolis; Varsity Quarters in Madison, Wisconsin, and Ivy on Fourteenth in Milwaukee.
HSRE owns all three projects. Opus Development Company and Opus Design Build were the developer and design-builder on all three projects. Opus AE Group was the architect for Venue at Dinkytown with Elness Swenson Graham Architects working in partnership as the design architect. The architects for Varsity Quarters and Ivy on Fourteenth were Eppstein Uhen Architects and Korb Tredo Architects, respectively.
Venue at Dinkytown offers 246 beds in 140 units as well as 9,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. Varsity Quarters serves the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with 162 beds in 72 units as well as 7,500 square feet of retail. And Ivy on Fourteenth serves Marquette University with 165 beds and 7,500 square feet of retail.
