Cincinnati — Phase one of the $54 million pedestrian-friendly development will be ready by fall 2014.
Cincinnati — Peak Campus Management will be the property manager for the under-construction University Station, which is being developed by The Ackermann Group, Messer Construction and Xavier University. University Station is a $54 million, 315,000-square-foot mixed-use development designed to be a pedestrian-friendly connection point for neighboring residents, Xavier University students and employees as well as the broader community. The property is on a land lease from the university and is expected to deliver in fall 2014.
This first phase is anchored by a 225,000-square-foot, 479-bed, 179-unit apartment complex that will serve Xavier students and the local community. The apartment complex features a mix of 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity. University Station will be the first high-amenity, purpose-built student housing project at Xavier, Peak says, and will feature a resort-style pool, game room, 24-hour fitness center, sundeck and spa, a stadium-seated theater and more. A ground-floor retail component, featuring restaurants and a book store, as well as office, parking and green spaces, are also planned for University Station.
