San Diego — Pierce Education Properties has promoted four of its executives. Matthew Maruccia has been promoted from director of acquisitions to vice president of acquisitions. In his new role, he leads the efforts of Pierce’s student housing acquisition programs, oversees acquisitions for development projects and assists with new business development for the company’s property management subsidiary.
In addition, Nancy Monaghan has been promoted from director of finance to vice president of finance. Monaghan, who joined the company in 2007, is responsible for all of the company’s financial reporting.
Finally, Kent Dunn and Theresa Nakata have both been promoted from vice president to senior vice president positions. Dunn works in the company’s asset management division and Nakata works in the marketing division.
