Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh-based The Preiss Company has hired two new employees to the company. First, John Manning has been named CFO. In his new role, Manning manages all of the company’s accounting and financial reporting, treasury, risk management and administrative functions. He also oversees the company’s relationships with lenders and investors. Prior to joining Preiss, he was the CFO for Cam Fabrication Holdings.
In addition, Dan Soyka has been brought on as the newest regional manager. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the company’s Alabama, Texas and Pennsylvania portfolios. He will also assist in the development of new student housing projects in various market. Prior to joining the company, Soyka worked as a development manager with Inland American Communities.
