Gainesville, Fla. — RISE: A Real Estate Co. has broken ground on Element 34, a 223-unit student housing community located near the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. The 215,000-square-foot property will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom, furnished and unfurnished units. Shared amenities are set to include a resort-style swimming pool; outdoor grilling space; a club room and lounge; an outdoor kitchenette; gaming tables; a business center with office pods; study rooms; a fitness center; mail center; 24/7 package concierge services; indoor storage; a bike repair station; pet park; and a circular exercise and dog-walking track. The project was designed by Dwell Design Studio with interiors by Focus Design Interiors. A timeline for the development was not announced.
