Farmington, N.M. — San Juan College is set to break ground on a 37,552-square-foot residence hall development at the corner of Sunrise Parkway and Education Drive on its campus in Farmington. The new project will offer 150 beds in one-, two- and four-bedroom units alongside shared amenities including a common area with a student kitchen, television and study areas on each floor and an outdoor activity space. Dekker, Perich and Sabatini provided the architectural design for the building, while Jaynes Corporation will serve as the project’s construction manager. Construction is expected to take approximately 14 months with the development scheduled for completion in spring 2022.
