Savannah, Ga. — Hardin Construction has begun work on Phase II.
Savannah, Ga. — Hardin Construction Co. has completed the renovation of the 78-bed Camilla Hubert Hall on the campus of Savannah State University in Savannah. Along with the construction of two new residence halls, the 106-bed Tiger Pointe and the 173-bed Tiger Place, it makes up Phase I of a $24 million freshman housing complex initiative at Savannah State. The buildings offer one- and two-bedroom units with laundry facilities, lounge areas and keyless entry systems. Hardin has begun work on an additional residence hall and the renovation of two other buildings — Adams and Morgan halls — as Phase II, which will provide nearly an additional 300 beds by early 2012, of the freshman housing complex initiative.
