Stratus Property Group Arranges Sale of Two Communities in Georgia Totaling 397-Beds for $11.3 million

Gainesville and Athens, Ga. — Stratus Property Group has arranged the sale of two student housing communities located near the University of North Georgia and the University of Georgia for $11.3 million.

Properties include The Preserve at Tumbling Creek, a 243-bed community located within walking distance of the University of North Georgia in Gainesville; and River Oaks, a 154-bed, garden-style community located near the University of Georgia in Athens. Both assets were sold on behalf of an undisclosed foreign private equity fund to an undisclosed buyer. Jeff Koon of Stratus Property Group brokered the transaction.
