Student Housing Community Trades Hands Near the University of South Carolina for $2.1 Million

Columbia, S.C. — A 32-bed student housing community located near the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia has traded hands for $2.1 million. Brooks Owings of Wilson Kibler represented an undisclosed Charlotte-based investment group in the acquisition of the property, named Hampton House. The new ownership plans to renovate the property’s units and upgrade common areas. The seller in the transaction was undisclosed.
