Atlanta — Atlanta-based Student Quarters has launched a partnership with Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited, one of Australia’s leading investment managers and owners of Australian student housing.
The agreement will provide capital and strategic partnership needed for Student Quarters to scale its business over the next several years. The company will now compete for larger portfolio acquisitions. The partnership comes in the wake of Blue Sky closing a substantial joint venture with Goldman Sachs in 2016 to grow its Australian student accommodation platform.
“Not only will Student Quarters benefit from Blue Sky’s immediate funding, there is also tremendous benefit to their strategic insights,” says Andy Feinour, president and co-founder of Student Quarters. “Blue Sky was a first-mover in Australian student housing and is positioned to become a regional leader given the Goldman Sachs joint venture.”
