Taft Completes The Boundary @ West End Near East Carolina University

Greenville, N.C. — Taft Development Group, in partnership with Ward Holdings, has completed the 550-bed Boundary @ West End, located across the street from East Carolina University’s campus.

Fully preleased since May and in use since August, the project also features 9,000 square feet of retail space that will deliver next week and is about 50 percent leased. Preiss Co. manages The Boundary.

The four-acre complex has been rated a 94 by Walk Score, an online service that measures “walkability.” The contemporary, five-story brick and stucco complex also includes a 429-space parking garage for residents.

The Boundary @ West End has three courtyards, featuring a resort-style swimming pool with Baja shelf and swim-up bar. Other courtyard amenities include water features, outdoor grills, a beach volleyball court, a hammock garden and other multi-purpose spaces. The 6,300-square-foot club house offers a study café and quiet room, fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, a social cafe with a game/multipurpose room, tanning beds, vending area, printing room, mail room and student gallery. The complex offers 20 specialized-use rooms for residents, including open lounges, group and individual study rooms, as well as music rehearsal and dance studio rooms.

Students may select from studio, one-, two-, three- or four-bedroom floor plans. Each floor plan provides a private bedroom and bath for each student. The fully equipped kitchens feature upgraded appliances, custom cabinets and luxury vinyl tile flooring throughout. Each suite has its own washer and dryer. The complex has state-of-the-art security systems, including cameras and electronic locks for all doors.
