Columbus, Ga. — Columbus State University, Corvias Campus Living and Winter Construction have celebrated a topping off ceremony for a new $25 million, 540-bed residence hall, Clearview Hall, in Columbus.
Cary, N.C. — Corvias Campus Living has partnered with Providence, Rhode Island-based Gilbane Building Co., who will provide construction services for some of Corvias’s on-campus student housing projects nationwide.
Corvias Group had a big win at the end of 2014 when the University System of Georgia announced the firm would build a number of student housing projects across several campuses. Corvias’s John Picerne reveals more about the company and its mission. Interview by Randall Shearin
Cary, N.C. — Corvias Campus Living has secured $548.3 million in private financing to fund the initial phase of a public-private partnership (P3) with the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG).
Atlanta — Firms were notified Monday to potentially partner in one of the largest P3s currently in play in the country.
Atlanta — The 31-campus state system is seeking a long-term, private partner to acquire existing beds and to develop 2,300 new beds.
The school is seeking approval from the local government and the state Board of Regents to build a 451-bed project.
