The Opus Group Promotes Ben Angelo to Senior Vice President, Real Estate Development

Minnetonka, Minn. — The Opus Group has promoted Ben Angelo to senior vice president of real estate development. In his new role, Angelo will lead the Minnetonka, Minnesota-based firm’s student living division. His responsibilities will include sourcing and pursuing new markets and opportunities; overseeing new development projects; and feasibility and financial analysis. Angelo joined Opus in 2016 and has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. “Since joining Opus, Ben has been instrumental in the growth of our student living portfolio,” says Executive Vice President Matt Rauenhorst. “We are committed to this sector and currently have five student housing projects under construction or in leasing phases representing more than 2,200 beds.”
